What is METAR/TAF?
METAR (Meteorological Aerodrome Report) and TAF (Terminal Aerodrome Forecast) are standard formats for aviation weather. METAR reports current conditions; TAF forecasts conditions for the next 24–30 hours.
Where does the data come from?
Data is sourced from official aviation weather sources. It may become outdated or delayed. Do not rely on it for flight-critical decisions—always obtain current official data for operational use.
How do I authenticate?
Register with email (no password). Verify via the link sent to your inbox. Sign in with passkey or request an email sign-in link. For API access, create a long-lived API token from the dashboard.
What are the rate limits?
Free tier: 500 requests per week. Pro: 10,000/week. Power: 100,000/week. Enterprise: custom. Limits are per user (all tokens combined).
How many API tokens can I create?
Free: 1 token. Pro: 5. Power: 20. Enterprise: contact for a quote.
